INTERN
The Centre for Legal Information and Communication in Kenya (CLICK) is a Kenyan human rights based non-governmental, not-for-profit, non-political organization. CLICK's goal is to harness resources for institutional strengthening for development and improvement of legal protection of all human rights. In this respect, CLICK focuses on research, policy analysis and advocacy for policy and legal reform to enhance legal protection of human rights.
The objectives of CLICK are to promote the adoption of systems that foster democratic governance, the rule of law and respect of all human rights.
CLICK is offering an internship opportunity to Kenyan nationals for a three-month period. The intern will be based in Nairobi with occasional travel outside Nairobi and will assist the Program Officer in implementation of project activities and will be expected to conduct research on a wide range of legal and political issues and prepare project reports under the guidance of the Program Officer.
Requirements:
> First degree in Law, Political Science or related program from a recognised institution of higher learning.
> Fluent in English and Kiswahili.
> Excellent computer skills in various computer packages.
> Proven research skills.
> Organisational and analytical skills
> Good communication and interpersonal skills.
> Good understanding of democracy and human rights.
